let's start planning
Every elopement on Milos is completely its own. Here is a small window into what we create together.
From the moonscape of Sarakiniko to the hilltop sunsets of Plaka, Milos offers an extraordinary collection of settings unlike anywhere else on earth.
the experience
Planning an elopement on a remote Greek island takes more than a good eye — it takes someone who knows the island intimately. I know which boat captain to call for a Kleftiko sunrise session, which narrow lane in Plaka catches the last of the golden light, and exactly when the crowds thin at Sarakiniko so we have the cliffs entirely to ourselves.
From the moment you reach out, I become your creative collaborator and your logistics partner. I will help you navigate Greek elopement legalities, connect you with trusted local vendors — from florists to officiants — and build a day that feels effortless, unhurried, and completely yours.

ASK ME ANYTHING
DO I NEED A PERMIT TO ELOPE in milos?
For photography sessions at public beaches and viewpoints — including Sarakiniko and Plaka — no permit is typically required. However, for ceremonies at private venues such as Domes White Coast or Kipos, the venue handles its own event permissions. For legally binding ceremonies in Greece, there are civil registration requirements for foreign nationals. I guide every couple through this process and work with trusted local wedding planners to ensure everything is handled correctly.

WHAT IS THE BEST TIME OF YEAR TO ELOPE in milos?
The shoulder seasons — late April through early June, and September through October — offer the best conditions for elopement photography on Milos. The light is warm and golden, the Aegean is calm and brilliantly blue, and the island is far less crowded than peak summer. July and August are stunning but extremely busy at popular spots like Sarakiniko; if you choose peak summer, I recommend early morning sessions to have the landscape to yourselves. Spring and early autumn also offer the best conditions for the Kleftiko boat session.

How do we get to Kleftiko for a session?
Kleftiko is only accessible by boat, which is part of what makes it so magical — it is completely secluded from the rest of the island. I work with trusted local boat captains to arrange a private charter for your session. A typical Kleftiko boat session lasts 2–3 hours and can be combined with stops at other sea caves and beaches along the southern coast. This is available as an add-on to any package.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE BOOK?
I recommend booking at least 6–12 months in advance, especially for peak season dates (May–October). Milos has become one of the most sought-after elopement destinations in the Greek islands, and my calendar fills quickly. A 25% retainer secures your date. That said, I occasionally have last-minute availability, so it is always worth reaching out even if your date is approaching.

Can we make our elopement legally binding in Greece?
Yes. Greece recognizes civil ceremonies for foreign nationals, and a legal Greek marriage is recognized in most countries worldwide. The process requires submitting documents to the local municipality several months in advance. Many couples also choose a symbolic ceremony in Milos — which has no legal requirements and allows complete creative freedom — and handle the legal paperwork at home before or after the trip. I can connect you with a trusted local wedding planner who specializes in Greek elopement legalities.
